SciFi and Fantasy Art Tourists at the Great Wall by Per Johansson

A couple of years ago I visited China. At Badaling I happened to see some other tourists from very far away, and they didn´t arrive in a bus...

The spaceship is, as You may have noted if You´ve looked at my other entries, built of plastic plates, a plastic bowl and assorted materials. The Great Wall is photographed by myself during a trip to China I won in a sculpting-contest in a newspaper. I have used Paint and Photoshop to combine the elements.

10 Jul 2008	John R Farley Jr	Loading... A great picture of the wall itself. Normally those lens flare globes bug me, but it works in this one. Very effective. Per Johansson replies: "Thanks, John. I thought the lens flares were necessary to blend the two picture-elements, especially as the ship is so highly reflective."
13 Nov 2008	Désirée Dippenaar	Loading... Ooh, nice! Very good idea! The photo is excellent, and the UFO looks very natural in it, you integrated it well. Very well-made UFO too, actually. Great picture! Per Johansson replies: "Thank You, very much, Désirée! I’m really happy You like it! It’s a lot of work, but fun, to integrate strange object in ordinary pictures."

21 Nov 2009	Tom Draco Noir Taylor	Loading... Simply amazing models- and that must have been a wonderful trip. A friend of ours visited a few years ago and brought me back a real silk tie- Your models and photos are so realistic, one could almost believe this craft was actually there. Per Johansson replies: "Oh, thanjs very much, Tom! Yes, it was a fascinating trip! I wish I had the time to create more models, but it’s hard to get the time. This UFO is several years old."
25 Nov 2010	Sean	Loading... Aliens: "We checked and you can’t see it from space. Sorry" Per Johansson replies: "Good comment, Sean! Thanks. Actually I think it can be seen from low Earth orbit, but of course not from the Moon, as some people believe."
