At Solpec, a planet in a distant star-system, the slave-huntress Eonila has returned to the city of Chragtoniax to sell more of her catch. Nearby her colleague Brute is doing some business. Grandma Vernia leaves the market, quite satisfied with the merchandise she has picked up...

This is a variant of my "Slavemarket".

Pen and ink. Scanned. Colored in Paint. Sunlight added by Photoshop.

^.^ Very nice. Why do they all have tails though? Interesting. Poor slaves.

:-) Per Johansson replies: "Thanks again, Rachel! On Solpec the "humans" never lost their tails when they evolved from the "apes". Also, to fit in Elfwood, a being should not be all too like ordinary earthly creatures, I think..."

I feel very sad for the ones that have been captured. I would never want to be any of them.

:-) Per Johansson replies: "Well Chantel, I must say that I agree with You, but what can I do?..."

Great drawing! love the colors and the theme. You should do a
large slave auction.

:-) Per Johansson replies: "Thank You, Paul! Well a large picture with many figures would not show very much in this format. But, I must admit that I have thought of yet another version. We’ll see if there will be one..."

How humiliating for that poor guy having his teeth checked like a horse or other beast of burden. And if that wasn’t bad enough he’s being fondled by the one behind him. You did a good job in all aspects of the drawing. Just another little story without words. You do that real well.

:-) Per Johansson replies: "Yes, it’s not easy being sold as a slave, I imagine... Thanks very much for the comment, Wayne!"

(far right) Looks like Judi Dench has bought herself a new Justin Bieber. And why are some silhouettes waving their hands? There must be a rave going on nearby. Its loud music is definitely why Dench looks so cheesed off.

:-) Per Johansson replies: "Hmm... You really got something there, Sean! I really don’t know what’s going on... I must admit I know about Judi Dench, but not Justin Bieber. Thanks for the comment!"

picking up some merchandise... that is also a way of saying it

:-) Per Johansson replies: "Yes, strictly business... Thanks for the comment, Lovisa!"
